Boedeker Butte from Horse Creek
This landscape piece was commissioned as a gift, based on an old photograph taken from a dude ranch in Wyoming.
With this design, I wanted to capture every important detail.
It was a pleasure to work on. Here are some photos of the work in progress.
It’s a delight to see every piece come to life once it’s done. Photos don’t really capture the experience of viewing stained glass in person. It looks different based on lighting conditions from outdoors, and from where you stand in the room.
Fellow mountaineers may appreciate knowing the coordinates from where this photograph was taken (my guess is 43.710835, 109.635226). Tools such as Google Earth or PeakVisor can be used to find it.
